How Do You use Netvidya-Class Effectively in the Classroom?
You can use Netvidya-Boards without mastering any interactive board programs. Netvidya-Boards are desirable peripherals. The Netvidya-Board screen becomes a live computer desktop that can be tapped to pull down menus and highlight, move, or open files. Instructors/users can also circle relevant sections on the projected image, draw geometric figures and underline important information. Then, they can save the screens, complete with annotations, which can then be made available on a shared server, e-mailed, or printed out. Netvidya-Boards connect to computers via USB cables or the boards can communicate wirelessly using Bluetooth technology. Few models need LCD projectors in order to project a computer image onto the screen, but some models have an integrated projector behind the screen. These models are more convenient and have fewer wires.

Netvidya-Boards let users print or save anything that they have written. Teachers can put notes in a file on a shared server for students to download, or the teacher can post notes on a web page or blog. Notes can also be printed out and distributed. This allows students to participate in the presentation instead of simply copying from the board.

Netvidya-Boards encourage critical thinking. One can use Netvidya-Boards with concept-mapping software, like Inspiration of Kidspiration. Students’ ideas can be written directly on the whiteboard. If the teacher switches to outline view, the class can brainstorm together in an organized fashion.
